EGT temps on stock 280 ROS

Now that I have 9 hours on my fresh 2003 280 ROS, I'm curious as to what is "normal" readings. I have the probes in rifled bolts going 1/2 into the exhaust cavity. I seem to be running pretty cool on both banks. 1050*- 1100*.

That seems about right. Move the probes a little, and you are likely to see different numbers...

Sounds like good safe temps for lake/river running. IMO if it runs well and you not racing or trying to ring every last mph out her I would be satisfied. Obviously as you get more run time just keep checking plugs and pistons.

Sounds safe, run it and check plugs and piston wash. Egts vary from mota to mota. Find where yours is happy and let that be your good temp. When temp changes you know there's a problem and shut her down.
