Hi Todd
wouldnt a stepped hull take higher pressure air out of the tunnel to help prevent some porpoising and tuning them would be tuning the tunnel choke?
I just wondered if that is a consideration?

The past has shown that the more steps added to these hulls does help eliminate the porpoise. With this being such a small running surface, we are finding it hard to add more steps, at this time. Not saying it can't be done, but the plans are to use the width and different strake configurations to help. The bottom plug is done, we are fitting the optional center pod to it now. I only have one guy working on this project full time, so it is a little slow moving, but is still moving forward. The lack of finding great talent is very difficult these days. A company is only as good as it's owner, but more important the crew is what makes a great company. I am not the easiest person to work for, but I have the best crew anyone could want. You should see these guys and gals work. This company only thrives, because of them. I will post some pics soon. We have 4 new boats on the floor in different stages. Stop by and see the madness.

Some pictures of the center pod being fitted. Slow moving, but moving. A lot of work in here and not enough hours in the day and finding good help is like looking for a unicorn anymore.

Not as cool as building boats, but here is the new seat design we will be using in the Talons and the Edge. This seat was designed to fit one of our 350 lb customers. So, it is for larger framed people or we can foam them in more to fit the smaller framed people. The best part is we can drop guys and gals down to the floor or add to the bottom of the seat to set them up hgiher. This seat was made to be very universal. We have a male and female mold, so we can put the gel or finish side on which ever side you want. We have 2 epoxy, carbon fiber, vacuum bagged ones we are doing next week. Will post pics then.

For us who have a Skater today, will you do a rebuild for Edge spec or will it be cheaper to just order a new hull? The small center pod, is it like the little fin on the stock Skater hull or slightly larger? I can’t wait to see the finished product, since I will be in the market for something else than my Skater, since the comfort cruising speed is right in the purpoise when having the family with me
