    The system does not reconize when the battery is fully charged and continues to charge at full capacity which over time damages both the battery and charge circuit. This was true until the E-tec engines. Factory sent out a bulletin about this many years ago.

    Wanted to find some info to support not using an AGM battery and found it. Page 8 of this link. Thanks again to Racer on this stating why not to use one.
