Just for kicks, call Jeff and ask if he would do it and how much, He's a good guy.

I'm partial of the dealership route. But like anything else, it's really the guy that actually does the job and is HE qualified. The dealership tech's have to be certified or have a certified tech on his team. ( my shop anyway )

(If you want to take it to Ft. Myers, I know a great Master Certified Tech there at Galloway Ford. I can hook you up with him.)

Not just that it has a decent warranty, it's warrantied anywhere you go if a problem arises you take it to a Ford dealer and they honor the warranty and make the necessary repair. Parts AND Labor. No Charge.

They use genuine Ford or approved parts.

I'm not discounting other transmission repair shops, there are tons that do as good or better work....ya just have to find one or be recommended to one by someone you trust.

Hope this helps some.....If you want to go to Ft. Myers PM me and I will hook you up. They have some decent beaches over there to go to while your truck gets fixed......

If all it is is replacing a TC that is just a parts and fluid change, unless things have changed on newer vehicles. It shouldn't need a certified in trans work to change a TC, unless things have changed. Just make sure the shop does competent work.

That's odd of jeff, he's usually good at taking calls, I'll have to kick his ass.
