    mallory switch box 9-25100

    where yall buying these from?? is anyone still selling them??

    Mallory was bought out by Sierra, was told by our supplier that the Sierra switch box was made by the same company the built the Mallory ones. Been using the Sierra ones at work and seem fine have not used any in a HP application yet. Say made in Germany on them and look the same. Part # 18-5775.

    That's what I was told, like I said never tried one on something that revs over stock rpm. They do look the same was told the guts were the same as well.

    Never tried that number just 5775, I don't have an up to date parts book at home. Guess you get to be the lucky one to do an experiment.

    I just looked up.18-5881, for a 4cyl. Stick with the 18-5775. Your not spinning that new motor past 9k are you?

    Just go with the Sierra ones or spend twice the money for the Merc ones. If you get the Sierra ones let us know how it works.
