    stv procomp set up

    hi guys I'm putting a new 260 power head on my procomp it is bolted to the boat with no set back or jack plate should I have any set back I was told it can bolt on the boat it all redy has set back incorporated into the boat it had a bp bolted to it and ran 98 whats the best set up thanks steve

    98 is good for a BP. Only reason to add setback is if you want a hydraulic jack. They don't really need it though.

    Your putting a new 260 power head on to what?
    15" or 20" mid?
    Offshore?
    What lower unit?
    Setback is built into an STV but most run a jack plate to get the most out of being able to raise and lower motor for top end.
    If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.
