When I was out in mine at about 90ish. which i never got higher than super low 100's out of being a chicken. There is a point in which the bow is aiming about 5 degrees up. The closer to 100 I get, the bow comes up even higher probably under 10 degrees up. Which is perfectly normal and its what its suppose to do when packing air under there lifting the boat off the water. But all you can think of is am I going to blow over and then I slow down. It feels like a dragster riding a wheelie down the track accelerating faster and faster. Maybe this summer I'll go faster, maybe not.
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

Around 2:10 We were going around 100. I had Me, My Son and My Nephew in the boat. But it sure was fun. Of course you can't see much of my boat because we were doing the filming.

Let's see. My boat is a 1986 so it's a touch different than yours. I have an early 4 hole unmodified CLE, which this boat seems to love. The mid is a production 20" fishing without the drilled cavitation plate. Mid sleeve is removed. Has a solid mount 2 pcs adapter. Forgot what tuner is in it. Has a manual 4" jackplate. It's set up about 1.5 inches up. The prop is some sort of custom Yamaha drag prop, pitch unknown, probably low 30s. This property hooks and books. Made by DAH for this boat. Hitting 100 plus at just under 6500 with a minimum of 1500 rpms to spare. And that was with 3 adults and 25 gallons of fuel. So I can testify that you can make the right boat with the right regular parts haul ass. Just ask Tabera Racing, they built it.
