    300x skirt....Real value.

What's a mint uncut 300x/promax skirt worth? I know they are over 1500 from Mercury. I know Nass was making them but think sold with the cowl business? So what is the real life street value? I have one, but don't want to cut it. I could use one, not sure if it makes sense to buy a cut one and keep the one I have in a safe, or just cut it.

Its a piece of plastic....Cut it and use it or leave it off and in the closet for someone else to use when you dont need or want it anymore....i never understood the fascination with these silly plastic pieces...the motors look great with or without them....

The 300X looks odd without the skirt unlike the 2.5's which are fine either way.

Yep, it's been off for the longest time. I guess if I don't use it or sell it it has no value. I don't know how much more I would like the looks with it on, I do know I am tired of keeping the adapter plate clean as the mid.

I was in the same situation. I put up a wanted ad and had a fella contact me with one that he wanted $600 for. I bought a Nass for $200. This allowed me to keep the original and re use it later if need be. In my opinion an original is worth around $200.

I guess it depends if you can buy a new Nass one anytime soon. I agree, they will bring the market down on the originals if they get back in production. I have a link on a cut one now, so I am going that route. If I keep the original I have it if the motor ever goes on something with front steering.
