    1999 Merc 225 optimax

    Motor supposedly lost a piston and now will not spin 360 easily. Has been sitting for the last 3 months. according to the previous owner there was a New starter compressor and lower unit 4years ago. I believe him as he was pretty up front and honest with me.


    I am looking to part this motor out. I am located in New Jersey and shipping is available.

    block is good. I have it pulled off the mid right now. Bare block no crank, correct?
