n-control dual split foot throttle, anyone with twins using it? I have questions.

Went to trying to rig this thing and the cable they supply is only 21'-6" long and it appears you need about 10-12" extra to feed into the rollers. Having said that, 21-6 is not long enough. My boat is only 21' long, but by the time you run the cable up out of the shifter, then down and back to the transom, then up to each motor... the cable is almost 22' long. I could maybe shave a foot of the cable, but then it would only give me 6" to run through the rollers. I called CP and they acted like I was doing something really off-the-wall..... that 21-6" should be plenty. What about these bigger boats 23-30 footers with twins? I realize the nose is longer.... but surely the cockpit is longer as well?

Update: Talked to CP yesterday and they are going to send me out a 25' cable, so I guess the problem is resolved.
