I can remember running on soft ice and my ex-wife taking pictures of me coming out of the turns pulling 3rd gear throwing rooster tails that looked like my skater.

Fantastic mems! Saw all the greats Sante Fe. Springer, etc, as so many more. And those little chit kids from Michigan? Produce more bike racers, as SoCal. But the boys from Midwest could run through sun blinded, "motos" shaded treed next and still cook! SoCal boys in the woods LOST!
On Chris? One night at Sante Fe with the TT races? HA! I had broke my ankle and on cast/clutches. Damn Idiots in the stands WAITED for me more beer down. So I hobble back and start to walk up and ALL LET LOOSE barrage M/T beer cups at me! Just too much fun. One time went side stands and yelled .."Heh, over here!" Simple great fun crowd. But one nite, hobbled down a fresh cold one, and hit the horse trough "noodle shaker" Hear this "clop clop" coming in? Well its Springer and Chris Carr next me, suited and iron shoes on. We all had fresh cups beer on top while "noddle shaking" I looked at Chris and said.."make Pro yet"?
Yep, tonight! One TOUGH but nice kid. And him and Jay were foot shorter me, but so large in my book.

And after no "Springfield mile" years? Went the resurrection. 120 mph, and "take a left" DAMN KIDS!

    Robbie,

I have a mint 91 Sturgis that want to sell if you know of anyone 8,400 miles. I also have an all original 86 V-Max that is a time capsule (very clean). Let me know if you or someone that you run with has any interest.

No one I'm aware of at the moment. First year Sturgis (80) has some collector value as belt drive, not sure value a 91. Mine's a 79 FSX. The V Max was a REAL ass kicker when came out. Still wanted as fast and bullet proof!

Having them to look at is a good enough reason. Riding them now and then is a bonus.
They should hold their value so you can always get your money back out of them and maybe make a profit.
