How many times have you done or seen these problems ?? rolling into a corner and pushing hard with the roller and squashing the resin out !!!
Also another contributing factor is the laminating roller diameter being to small !!

These types of rollers should be thrown away! The one at the top of the picture is new and see how small and shallow the threaded grooves are !! the middle one is worn from being cleaned on a wire buff , the one at the bottom has been buffed so much the grooves are very shallow and caused many problems !

These are just a sample of aluminum finned rollers that make a much better job and are easier to use !And note how deep the grooves are and don't have half the problems of the steel rollers !.
Messing round with boats is fun !! the learning never stops ,even after more than 30 years there's always something new happening somewhere ! BUT somethings never change and some problems never go away and just keep reoccurring !!so moved into Composite Forensics , Now that something completely new !!

Used tools build up resin. They're called consumables. Throw them out when done. No one cares
