    Apache scout

By any chance anyone knows who owns this Apache? Saw last year at the Suwannee run. We just bought an Apache and have a few questions about it. Thanks in advance Miguel.

Got a 1996 with a 225 Yamaha. Was wondering how they perform with that kind of engine. Haven't had it on the water yet due to the weather been to cold up here but hoping to test drive it soon. Here is a few pics of mine.Click image for larger version.

The small apache's around here were built heavy with a deep V. I would think a 225 would get it to somewhere around high 60's maybe 70 mph. JMO

Thats about right, if rigged/propped well. Solid fiberglass hull & hull sides. Coremat in the hull sides. Plywood cored deck. 4 full length hull stringers, which is not neccessary in this small boat. All this equates to a build that is about 300#(minimum) overweight... Nice ride in the big chop though. And you won't break it.

Sweet boats. I saw this one at TNT a while ago. Cockpit is way back. Narrow pad, would be a fun little boat for sure. I wonder what it weighs.

Thats a late eighties boat, as it came from the factory new, on N.E. 188th Street in North Miami Beach(now called Aventura). Standard cockpit location for the outboard model. 6" pad, same as the Challenger, etc. These years were the highest volume of 22's manufactured. The boats(fiberglass) actually measures 21' 2'' length overall.

...This beautiful, completely renovated, 1987 Apache 22 Scout is owned by Chris Lazure. Nice guy, easy to talk to, and very much a performance boater. Give him a call anytime, about his boat, or just to shoot the breeze. He lives in Pompano Beach & owns a great little airplane business there in Pompano Air Park by the blimp station. His business is called "Dare To Dream", an Authorized Cirrus Training Center. His number at the office is: 954-776-1286 ...His cell number is: 954-632-3014 ...Again, Chris would not mind at all, if you wanted to call & talk about his Scout & its performance & how much work went into its all-new renovation by TNT Marine in Miami...
