What is the purpose of the water hoses that go from the top of the block to the cyl head between cly 5-6.Would you use that arangement on a lake boat?

To cool 5&6. They run the hottest. Unless you can go in the fuel curve and add fuel to cool them I would recommend the hoses.

Anybody have a pic of this cooling hose? Even though I've had no problems I'd like to see what was done!!!

This extra cooling is only on the late drags with o ring heads. If you go to engine buy and sell, some of the late drags for sale have pictures that you can see how there set up.
