I'm pretty sure you'll still see the sponsor ads that are served directly on this site (above the menu bar and on the left side); but not the "external" ads... but you do understand that the ads running here are what makes the site possible?
Most of the adblockers let you "exclude" a site (like this one) if you choose to.
