28 Speedster with verados build underway

My 28 Speedster build is now started at Eliminator. It is using carbon/kevlar, penske board, foam and balsa. This is Eliminator's first full resin infused build. Using a new urethane resin from Scott Bader in the UK, it could be several hundred lbs lighter.

This new resin, Crestabol 1253, is designed for carbon fibre builds and is reported to be stronger than epoxy.

The boat is red with pearl white and carbon fibre inlays on the deck and sides. It will have 2017 400 verados in black now with a 3 yr warranty.

The built is being tracked on River Daves as well as eliminator's facebook. Should be ready in March.

One of the main reasons that I chose them was the ability to interact with and infuence the people doing the work.

Should be a great lake/river boat - keep posting pics as the build progresses! Amazing that Eliminator can send a boat down the road after just 3 months time - start to finish!

Me to but most manufacturer's like to keep the process private. I don`t know why. Infusing is no secret any more.

Bobby, funny, I was just thinking about a thread I did yrs back where we infused one of the 28' vee bottom fish boats we were building.

    Cool stuff.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
