Wise a$$...... too bad they didnt come off the line like that, but they did make great Rods and ya gutta love the Nomads! I loved my 67 fastback stang w/ 427 duel quad 4 spd which was a police package..... BUT the handling still SUCKED in 1970! Every black line on the road in Windham went to my house. Gary

One More Thing That Was Better... FUEL!! If You Wanted To Go Drag Racing, You Simply Pulled Up To The Sunoco Pump. Dilled Up The 260!! And Headed To The Local Drag Strip. We Had 3-Tracks That Were All Close. Twin-City On Friday Had $1.00 To Get In And $1.00 To Race! Just Simply A Better Time!!

Quick Question For All Of Us That Seem To Be Stuck In The 50's/60's... What Is The Cheepest You Have Ever Seen Gas? For Me It Was $.19 For Regular In Clearwater FL. Which Was Always $.02 Cheeper Than You Would See It In Tampa.

Close, Portis, Kansas, 1950's, we'd pull into the Phillips 66 in town on our mini-bike, fill the 1/2 gallon tank and get change for our quarter. :-)

I was born in 61 so I remember about 70% of the video ...... The cars had style , you could look at a car shape and know what brand . The cars of today all look the same , they all out handle the oldies , but they lack individualism ..... Yes there are exceptions .... Simpler times for shure . Remember when points and condensers where being replaced by CD ignition ? Peaple did not want them how can you fix them on the side of the road ? EFI same thing .

This is the reason I replaced the CD ing. in my Bronco with points when I use to take it 70+ mi off rd in northern Maine with my family. Also changed carb to small Holly 4bbl I grew up workin on and carried 2 rubber plug/ gun kits and a small scuba tank for air. 37 gal fuel tank with a 5gal jerry can hanging on one of the 3 spares. Went 2 days once without seein another human up at the Canadian border out there! Gary
