Maximum Pyrometer reading
I have an Allison 2003XB with a 225HP Super Magnum Mariner engine. It is a fresh rebuild. The ECU is a stock R32 except the limiter has been raised to 7,600 RPMs. I have pyrometers with the probes positioned in the outlet ports in the bottom of the block. When running loaded with a 30P prop, what would be the maximum temp you would want to see. I have the 260 style fuel system with adjustable regulator. Thanks for your help.
