1998 Mercury 200HP EFI Outboard motor, 20" (L) shaft length. Perfect for bassboat or performance runabout. New powerhead was professionally rebuilt with top shelf components, FF block with new vertex piston sets, steel caged rod bearings, new poppet and thermostats, all seals & gaskets, and more. Oil injection removed properly with factory plug. Less than one hour test and tune time. Runs great and looks like a new engine. Power trim and tilt. Ratcheting 1: 1.87 Lower unit serviced with new water pump and gear lube.

Yes, I have a factory pallet/crate for shipping but the buyer must make the shipping arrangements. I have shipped to FL before and it cost ~175$.
This is a great platform to hot rod for the guy that wants to tinker with his engine.

I have a 99 Merc 200EFI with Boysen reeds that has one bad cylinder (One Cyl needs bored out I was told). It is complete with good lower unit etc... What would you give me for trade? I bought it new in 99 and always serviced it as recommended. Cowling etc in excellent condition stored indoors and never saw salt water only fresh water Arizona lakes.

Bump. What does "FF" code designate in the 2.5 fishin motors?

The exhuast chest is cut same as a Promax. The early 2.5 200s are not as good in the chest area.
