95 summerford rr any info on this hull

I recently picked up my first stv from a gentleman in South Carolina it is a 1995 stv river rocket with a 2.5 260 on it. I'm just trying to find any info on the hull and motor. Previous owner said the boat came from Texas and the motor had some work done to it by diamond marine any info on it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Marine Tex works fantastic, It sands easy too. If you can, buy some long steel files. Flat, round and radiused. They are cheap to buy. With a Steel File there is no mistaking where your low and high spots are so you can add more Marine Tex. The files cut through Marine Text almost like butter. A Steel File is 100 times more accurate than a 1x2 with sandpaper glued to it. You would go that route after you file and are doing the detail sanding.

Was checking the boat out yesterday and was trying to get an idea of what it weighed.... from the looks of it it has never had the floor or transom replaced and on the outside it looks great other than 1 hairline crack where the jack plate is mounted. I've read numerous threads trying to find out how many different lay ups were offered in 95 but am hitting a brick wall. I don't have a set of scales yet to weigh it but if I were to guess I'd say around 750 + or - .

You can buy a digital hanging scale like I did and hook it to a 4x4 winch and lift it quite easily. Thats what I did.

So I just got my bill for FedEx $1677.59. I was originally quoted 470 something. I shipped with the weight set at 270 with the crate and somehow FedEx recalculated it to 450 lbs. Idk if it would do any good to try and dispute this or just pay the bill. Either way I'm still under what I expected to pay to get a motor built by jay but damn 17 for shipping!

    WOW.....They're rapeing you!!!!
There's no way a powerhead weighs that much, hell the whole engine only weighs about 400....I sent a block UPS, Ok to Wisconsin for less than 100 but it was bare!
    BTW, I NEVER use Fedex!!
