Weird forum glitch

Im getting a weird glitch.
When replying to post I am quoting my space bar doesnt work. All the words run together.
If I start typing right after the quote it works fine but if I go a line down like you normally would, no spaces.
Using latest version of Chrome.

Try hitting "Enter" first... after that spacebar seems to work (in Chrome anyway).

i found if i delete the last. (QUOTE) i then can use space bar.

Yep, Chrome sucks. Tried it...zero prob FF years. Most probs I hear of are not site fault , but browser.

I guess its a chrome issue because I just logged in on Microsoft Edge and its fine. Weird its only this forum though.

This is a bug with Chrome and our text editor and we are working on a workaround. It only affects Chrome, however..

The bug occurs when you use Quick Reply and when the cursor is below the quoted text. If you use a full reply or switch to "advanced" reply mode, the issue does not occur.

Quick workaround for now: When using Quick Reply, reposition the text cursor ABOVE the quoted text, and the space bar will work as normal.

This Chrome issue arrived with an update last month. It's affecting all sites running the VB4 core database. Although our installation is very highly modified for our use, the text editor us a basic component and requires a bit more time to fix. Some of the largest forum sites in existence are based on VB4 and they're all working to solve this, so it will definitely be fixed.

We will be saying goodbye to VB4 forever, soon...
