Not too many V drives now except wakeboard boats. Have you tried Wilkes Marine? You can get their contact info thru Google. Jim Wilkes used to write about V drives in Hotboat magazine.

I've owned and rigged a bunch. With no other info and if your turning the correct prop it's a weight issue. I've moved big blocks 6-8 inches forward to get them to settle down.

18 percent box and a 11 1/2 15 pitch Mikel chemise stainless aerospace metal prop. Blades are straight they don't reverse curve like other props due. Is this the wrong pitch for 18s?

depends on your HP and livable engine rpm... ive got one with a 1:1 and a 13x17 to pull the engine down to safe pontiac RPM id wanna see it run but its most definetly a weight in wrong spot or to much stern lift issue... a bow will lift pretty easy until about 50 mph then the cav plates really start pushing back down and can put you into a uncontrollable sine wave of stern lift bow dig and lift... set the plates TRUE LEVEL then slightly up and slightly down to see which way hop improves ...
