    Cabelas ad???

OK, I turned off all my ad-blocking on this site a few months ago... let the ads run, click on the ones that are interesting to support the site... blah, blah, blah.

Now today all of a sudden I have a Cabelas ad that pops up and blocks the whole page every time I click "new posts" or get the mouse anywhere near the banner ad. I had to close it 20 times already this morning.

Sorry, but that's not gonna fly... now I'm back to using adblocker on the site again to try to stop it.

The real question is, do those heated insoles really work? We usually have three or four cold days at the deer lease.

I noticed it and I am sending a request to have it removed. That ad actually does not pop up on its own = or, it's not supposed to. You have to hover over it with your mouse, but still, I never allow invasive advertising here on S&F. That ad should not pop up on its own though. I am very appreciative for you turning off your ad-blocker for S&F, as we absolutely depend on those ads, but I understand your feelings and I apologize for that. I would not want that kind of an ad popping up either.

    Which browser are you using?

I just report the stuff to try to help out a little... it would take more than a bad ad to get me to leave!

I have updated Chrome browser on Win 7.

That particular ad was very strange; it popped up and covered the page every time I clicked "New Posts"... something was triggering the huge popup besides hovering; but possibly the mouse pointer would pass quickly over the ad when I moved to click "New Posts" but I mean the pointer would be moving too fast for me to see it when it did.

Hey, I have no problem with the ad itself... it just can't make the page unreadable.

I have heard good things about them, have not personally tried them myself. Haha.
