That towel works like a mud flap, keeping the spray off the cowling.

I think an X, set up for that thing might be the ultimate weapon.
Big fan of the X's.
Cant wait to see some #s.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

i owned that boat back in 04-05..best driving top end boat i've ever driven...bottom was blueprinted by wally in 03-drives like a dream..i only sold it cause i couldn't get it lite enough in pro gas with my fat omc on the back..notice the windshield and side windows are lowered and angled down..i thought it looked cooler that way.............greg

i bought the boat from a guy in mississippi who ran it in superstock..he took the boat back to wally in 03 and had the transom reinforced and the bottom done (he was planning to run nitrous) but went with a newer lighter boat...with me in it(175 lbs) and a shorty 3.3 omc (390? lbs) i could never get below 1460 at the odba races...(only had to weigh 1400 and could not get there with lite batteries etc...)so i sold the boat in 05 to a guy named dale in the carolinas and went and got a dr20....stupid stupid move....should have kept the stv and figured out the weight thing....if i had to guess i would say the hull is in the 650-700 lbs range but it is solid as a rock and drives excellent..we still have a mold for the rear fairing that i designed that slopes down from the top of the seat pod to nothing in the back...looks cool and you can cut out the top for a rear seat...i think the mold is over at andy frosts house-have to check havent used it in years but i think he built a few...only fits a mod vp deck so we never built a lot of them....i'll ask him if he still has it-its great for putting in a rear seat.........................greg
