Glastron CVX 20 Jet, for sale, $2500 no motor
Have a Glastron 1978 CVX Jet Boat, already been restored by previous owner. I purchased boat without motor, planned on installing LS1 or BBC over winter. Dad gifted me a inboard ski boat, so not going to have much time for this boat. Asking $2500 will consider a trade for Gas powered Golf Cart, 400cc or larger ATV.
Boat is at Smith Mountain Lake VA
If interested send me a message or text

We sold the dog out of these at the dealership I worked at in the late '70's. They were the successor to the CV-19, a cool-looking boat in its own right that had the ubiquitous Olds 455 jet pack.
By the time the CVX-20 came out, the power package of the time was the Ford 460. They had this low grumble at idle, that turned into a deep growling roar when you opened up the throttle, because of the Ford's staccato cam and the open exhaust inside the tunnel in the back of the boat. They ran pretty darn good for a big boat that ran pretty glued to the water.
A jetovator helped that a lot.
They're neat boats. GLWS!Barry
