BND Automotive
Has anyone had any problems with BND? Seems like a super nice guy. I ordered some Aces two stroke after two weeks passed I hadn't gotten it, so I called him. Told me they where out and had to make more and should be leaving next day. Card got charged and now 10 days had passed and still nothing? Beginning to get concerned, I always give people the benefit of the doubt but starting to have a bad feeling.

I had e-mailed him this morning checking on update. He just e-mailed me tracking info where it shipped today. Looks like gonna get it. Not sure what delay was but he looks to have gotten it taken care of.

Love the products (and owner) but don't expect quick shipping. Order at least 4 weeks before you need anything. I've seen this twice and one friend I reco'd for the ACES IV 4 stroke same thing. Don't have any idea why. I'm in sales (albeit not an engineer sales guy) and I ship everything immediately.

Yea, looks like what has happened. Fed Ex scheduled to deliver tomorrow. Talked to Brian 30 minutes when I ordered. He was super nice and emailed me info on all his products I may could use in my shop. Looks like all is well just slow to ship out. I was worried maybe his business was struggling and having a hard time to produce the product. Next time just order way in advance.

Good theory, however on the BND web site the only way to order is by phoning direct or emailing them; there is no list of authorized distributors on the site or any mention of distributor partners (or alternative methods of ordering) on the phone when you call.
Brian is just a brilliant, personable, Christian guy that doesn't get bogged down in the minutiae of things like quick shipping. Again, love the products and Brian, but you need to order 4 weeks or so before you anticipate needing said product and you will need to follow up at least once (that will actually trigger the shipment). I decided on my last order of some ACES 2-S that I'd just wait and see if it would even be shipped ever if I didn't follow up....if I remember right it was 4 to 5 weeks later. He never will charge your card until it ships. If you want easy, go buy junk additives at Auto Zone; if you want the best, you better be patient.

Markus, it's getting a little old. I've run it with as much as 185 psi on pump gas, and it never detonated. That's proof enough for me.

That the people selling ACES say that the so-called octane effect is not the same thing as anti-knock index and not measurable in an octane test engine is proof enough for me. Do you think the additive knows if it is in a test engine or not?
Btw, it detonated for Skydog. On both engines, as far as I can remember.Markus' Performance Boating Links:

Sounds like poor customer service.Having to order accordingly knowingly the shipping is so poor? Doesn't sound like the man values his customers.
