Jason and RJ did not build that one. Lynn Simburger and Mike Farmer did after they acquired the molds from Jason. It is the last F1 Lynn/Mike built and Dustin Terry has the last F2 that Lynn built in early 2016.

So that was right after Jason filed bankruptcy? For some reason, I thought that boat was built before the molds left Modesto. Jason was supposed to build me a new boat (gave him $10k), but it never happened. So does Lynn still have the molds? That was a complete mess that went down about 5 years ago - a few big names in the industry got screwed out of money by Jason also. Sorry to jack this thread, I really hope you guys are successful with your new motor program, and can hopefully revive tunnelboat racing in the U.S.!

These motors should be a great option for a light weight high horsepower motor that are no longer available through mercury. The 3.5/4.0 will be a beast and the perfect power package for my next boat.

I'm in the process of picking a hull 32-36 offshore cat that I want for my next boat. There are a lot of builders right now building new models to cater to the outboards. I just feel the light weight high horsepower is the way to go

One of my concerns is how many of these can be sold before the EPA considers them not to be a racing product and subject to emission regulations. They may meet regulations for a while, but eventually no 2 stroke is going to be able to.

I don't know, if they are only sold in power head form and not cowl to lower bolt to boat and go I don't think they can? Look at all the crate engines for cars out there. It's not a complete car so it doesn't mater.

tell the EPA if they need to check emissions problems....go down to the the launch pad 39 in Florida, and take readings on the next Space X Rocket Lauch.....we are just burning a little bit of Sunoco Race Fuel with some 2 cycle oil .......the carbon footprint is equal to a mosquito turd on a 2 mile strech of I-10.

Love it. This is the most incredible product to come out in a very long time. Just an incredible development effort by CRT.
