You saved that picture for 5 whole months just waiting for the opportunity. You never disappoint Pete.

    Jeff,
I had the same concerns with the dash on my Viper. Got this idea from my Fiberglass mentor.

I remember those Ron. Cool solution indeed. May do something like that in the end when it gets to that point.

Very cool Jeff. I'm sure the captain is prepping his core saw now.

I know how you feel. There is a bruiser blue Vector listed in the Maryland Craigslist with an inline 6 on it that is killing me. If he drops it off in my driveway it better come with a divorce lawyer too.

BTW - I was very close to buying a Coco Loco Viper out of the Boston area before I stumbled into the Apricot boat from Travis. It looked to be in as good condition. That brown flake in the sun can really surprise you. The boat is still available as far as I know and the seller also happens to be named Travis!Click image for larger version.

427man, thanks for that pic, I've been wondering what the pin-striping looked like on the Coco Loco. I had heard they came like that from the factory but had never seen one. Don't mean to hijack Jeff, please carry on.

Yes Jeff - I apologize, I think I am guilty of changing the course of a thread all the time. Cyhuff - I saved every pic of your boat I saw when I was agonizing over buying the one I found. If you give me your email I can send you more pics with the pinstripe, but they are not .jpg format.

All good gentlemen. This thread will be well underway before I get serious on this boat with the Holidays coming up. I have seen Coco Loco boat both with and without the factory triple stripes.....depends on what the customer or dealer wanted when ordered. I may do some type of accent stripe as well......we'll see.

That was due ONLY to a stator meltdown and Bob was nice enough to help me with his TDC gauge and shoot timing on the new stator and flywheel that Rocky was generous enough to donate to a stranded boater. Otherwise, the cowl wouldn't have come off to reveal all the mongrel ugliness!

Mongrel ugliness????? He could have chose one of these but noooooo. Seriously for anyone that has not seen his Viper it has got to be one of the nicest, safest, and best cared for in the country. I am sure the next one will be the same cuz I don't think he can do it any other way.
