Right. They do "freeze" the funds immediately, but they don't give them back to the seller until the investigation is completed... it took over a month to get my money back.

Bud is correct. It doesnt work that way. Ive been with Paypal for MANY years and over $100k a year with them.
The only time we have been ripped off was on an international shipment where the buyer knew how to play the system. She reported it as not delivered and knowing the shipper timeline for proof of delivery exceeded PayPals limit for us to provide proof of delivery she was able to get her funds back then closed her account. She can NEVER open a PayPal account again her name.

I spoke with Greg last night. He stated that he spends most of his time trying to stop this from happening but he can't stop them all. This is by no means his fault and I'm not trying to put blame on Scream and Fly or Greg. I posted this problem so no one else would get burned.

Makes me remember about that guy a month ago that came on here griping that his drag motors and lower units were stolen out of his truck but wouldn't give anyone any information. Wouldn't say where, when, how, why, anything. hope he got them back, but what a dickwad.

Ya, cops won't do anything. It's a Civil matter and they only handle legal matters. I had an issue with a mid not shipping and getting the run around. Greg straightened it right out. I'm in SD also or I'd go knock on his door. I did it for another member that got screwed from some clown in Clairmont a few months back!

well the scammer saw these threads and laughed at me. Said not to try and come after him because it would be a waste of time and money.

paypal is good for buyer and seller, ebay now is a different world, if you are the seller you are screwed, they believe anything the buyer says and the seller is always lying. it takes about 2 minutes for ebay to judge on a claim, always in buyer's favor it seems

The user is banned, which is better than actually deleting the account. Either way, he is unable to use his account in any capacity, and his IP address is banned, which would make it difficult for him to try to register another account here.

The account remains banned in the database so I have a record of his IP addresses. If I delete the account, I will lose that information. In cases like this, it's always better to ban the account in place rather than delete it.

You should hire me to find clone accounts and scammers Greg. I am a pitbull at it. I used to spend about 2 hours every day working on it on HeliFreak. very important job to be done. I still have the extra time and desire/need to make some extra $$.
