Hydraulic Jack Plate on a STV Euro

I am thinking of replacing my 6" manual Bobs jack plate with a 6" Hydraulic unit with the internal pump. Any ideas on the pros/cons on a STV with a 225 Sport XS w/Sportmaster LU. I had a hydraulic jack on my Baja 186 with a 150 2.0 Mercury and loved it but not sure if I would do much "jacking" on a STV Euro vs. the set & semi forget manual jack.

I am thinking about a jack plate as well on my euro. I currently have a 7" hydrodynamics for the 300 Drag. Now that I am changing to a 300XS, I am thinking about putting on a SeaStar 6" HD. It seems to be the best choice but Atlas is a close second. I am not worried to much about the extra weight, heck I'm putting on a 300xs, but rather the usability for rivers and lakes in my area as well as changing loads.

I ran an manual 5.5in adjustable on my Euro/280 combo. Once I got it dialed in I only made changes when changing props, such as cleaver, ET, etc.
