Have people asking me whats next.
The boat is fast enough. 100 mph was my goal and I dont need to go faster.
I would like to try some things to see how they effect performance. I have a different exhaust plate I want to try to see if I gain some low/mid without losing on top. Ive also knocked around the idea of a fuel injection project. Again not to go faster but maybe get their quicker and just as a fun project.
I have to admit its a little weird not having a top speed goal after having for a few years.

I dont think anyone else is close to 100 mph with a 4 cylinder. Im not saying that bragging I just have not come across another 4 cyl outboard even in the 90's.

DAMN! Guess I'm to old think the new. I was thinking mods for mid range, punch, like said. Sure ya can bottle feed it, BUT? Aint it MORE FUN TO DO IT THE REAL WAY"? But doing it the hard way is more rewarding. Show a vid from a standing..curious.
I'd say bottle it for HP punch after a spin up, then off the top end. OR..?
I dunno, boat looks fine attitude at speed as it is. BUT?

I know of at least two Chrysler fours that can run in the low/ mid 90s. Bill Edwards in his ET Tunnel, he's down in FL in the next few days. The Chrysler racing thread has a vid link of his boat. That's with a 96 ci twin carb.

Congratulations on your feat, you've definitely thought and worked hard at it, and you deserve it.

I'd like to think that your project represents one of the cool facets of innovation that S&F is all about.

    Job well done, sir!
