What I typically see is someone will buy a boat that is in need of power or is marginally nice and then will spend double there budget on fixing it up before they will buy one that is done.
Even buying or building a new hull from any manufacturer is only a small portion of what it takes to get what you are looking for.

Pay now and know what you are getting after properly and thoroughly inspecting or most probably pay much more later to make corrections, upgrades or repairs!
Not to mention the amount of work, money and time it takes to build or rebuild a project if you want to do it correctly.

Tony, part of the problem with people looking to buy a performance boat dont know what is involved. A perfect example is the 2006 progression without power for 21k. A new person to the market might think,21k without a motor, thats crazy. You,me and most everyone on the board know's thats a good deal for that hull. Another example is (and I'm NOT knocking Apache boats). 22ft apache been on facebook for 5500.00 with a 225 mercury. I don't know the boat or the person. A first time buyer 9 out of 10 times is going to pick a complete boat.

Joe, I agree!
The boat you mentioned is a real "plug and play, bolt your power" and go boating that afternoon unless there is something buyer does not care for.
It has a good road worthy trailer, great interior, great exterior, hyd jackplate, fully rigged with steering, full cover etc. Not to mention one of the best fabrication method, vacuum bagging which = light and strong!
I'm actually rerigging someone's boat and he just spent $6000+ on little misc stuff.
