New member Old boat

Hi everyone new guy here. Well after being out of boating for a number of years. I decided this past summer while I was on lakeside vacation without a boat it was time to get back on the water. But I really wasn't sure what I wanted to get being that I had owned Mastercrafts previously. So I started thinking how much I always wanted one of those cool hot boat magazine V drive boats when I was younger. I told myself Yea Iam gonna do it Even better was mama gave the go ahead. So with that in mind I started scouring the west coast forum boat ads. Came upon this boat 1976 Mr Ed 21 V drive all original,a Keith Black motor this boat got my attention so decided to inquire if it ever sold. Turns out it was still for sale. So after a few lengthy calls and numerous pics between owner and myself I decided to buy it. I know it's not what you would consider a real hot boat. But I like it. As it is almost a new 40 yr old boat. Has never seen salt water either. Having it all gone through top to bottom with some upgrades out in Cali by one of the best boat shops before bringing home. Cannot wait to get it home. Well let me know what you think of her. First pics are how the current owner found her in the barn. Hopefully will get to see and meet some of the members here next summer and take a trip up the Connecticut River. Thanks for looking.
