    New Member, New Sled

Hey Guys thought id share a pic of my new ride, an 08' Progression. Took delivery about 3 weeks ago.
I've been a bay rat since the late 80's but mostly running around with inboard ski boats as I waterski competitively. Don't worry, I've still got my Mastercraft for skiing, the only thing on my Progression will be my GF, two beach chairs, and a small cooler. I've always been a big fan of these boats as a buddy ordered a brand new one in 1990. Got a bunch of rides in it but never any wheel time so I have a lot to learn. I have to admit, driving this boat is a little intimidating. I'm spending a lot of time in the 45-55 MPH range, just trying to get a nice smooth ride. I'll have a lot of newbie questions so just bear with me.

Nice Boat! Hope you did not get the name "bouyhead" from targeting the slalom buoys with your head! I still have my '87 American Skier - I was a tournament skier in the late '80's thru the '90's. You will get used to the larger boat and the "power" out back quickly.

Thanks for all the welcomes, I'm already chomping at the bit for next season. The boat came from Kevin out in Copiague, his attention to detail was very impressive. He sold me an absolute perfect boat, I couldn't be happier.

Kudos to Chris for keeping that 22' so nice, the boat doesn't a blemish on it. Let him know his old boat is in good hands. When I was working out the details to buy this boat the GF was doing a little homework online and sent me that video. She got a hoot when I told her that the boat in the vid is the "actual" boat i'm buying.

Thanks for the invite! I've known Tom S. from The Nook since the late 90's we had some great times together, late night Fire Island runs, skiing, Bay House party's etc.
