No water pressure alarm
Long story short, parked on a sand bar now engine is getting a no water pressure alarm. Didn't see the motor peeing. Turned off before any overheating (temp 154) could occur. I checkd the water pick up and it is clear so I'm assuming there is a blockage further upstream.
I tried searching on how to backflush an Optimax but can't find anything. I don't have a service manual yet so any help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking if I remove the line I am pointing to and force water through it, this will flush the block all the way to the pickup. Would that be accurate?

I would pull the lower unit and check impeller first. Also there is a flush fitting on back of engine.
