Proberly painted with hi temp header paint from the dollar store.

It looks more like it was painted with Spray on Plastidip rubberized coating.

Just from what I see in the pictures.

So if you have a fiberglass or carbon fiber cowl that means it cannot be an OEM piece?
OEM's are always plastic?
Just taking in this info, this is good to know. As long as its correct.

Like stated, looks to be an "Eagle One".
Is the metal plate on the pan aluminum? If it is I say 99.9% is an "Eagle One".
Maybe someone got creative lightly blasted the finish then sprayed a satin finish.

Probably told original buyer/client, it would make the motor and boat faster with that satin finish....

Yes, Its definitely Aluminum.
I would have thought they all were based on rust and weight.

Heres a few pics of how mine is mounted to the lower pan, you can also see the so called "upside down" clamp mentioned earlier.

No, OEM plates are stainless and early HP where anodized steel.
I would suggest to cut some holes upper rear section for air intake though. The best thing to do is when you are around an OEM alien cowl is copy them.

There have been probably 100 or more claims against eagle one on this site. Everyone has their good days and bad days, but they have had A LOT of bad days. Screwing the high performance community almost never turns up well, word carries fast.
