Wish I had some pics of my 65. Actually I wish I still had my 65.

Cool airplane motor. That was in case anyone forgot what started this thread.

On vettes? My dad and 10 year older brother both car and boat freaks and sure got into my blood! There 1953 when I was just a kid! And has quite a history after he unloaded it. See he raced Vintage in a lots of rides, all over states on tracks, and last was a 56 Alfa. Were all west coast now, him NorCal. Been up here racing old SIR (seattle) and PIR (Portland) many times. Always wondered what happened to the vette. Well, found it through the vette registry and damn! Frame off restore, and sitting in a Chevy dealership showroom in Seattle!. Dealer the owner. He shows up and ask to talk owner. Dude was floored knowing the first owner! Bro had original paper work to prove it too! Anyway. I'll get to my old vette next.

I bought this off a neighbor. 81. Sold now, but it was a lotta fun. Simple sexy! No radio, just a cd with big amp under seat and big speakers rear deck. Toss in some AC DC, ZZ, crank it, T's off hit the backroads! And my doggy loved rides! She's in the second pic waiting. I think I never did clean off the inside rear window! Heck, my dad had long window "cuda's" and sent ME back there to do it!.

I had a close look at a cherry crossflow recently that had a 400hp LS in it . All fine if done right with factory style air, looked great .

I guess I can share this. So keep in mind, there were no seats, i was sitting on the floor, no mirrors, no power steering, no power brakes and no choke. I was reversing with a 4 speed and it was mid december in Minnesota. At the end I couldn't figure out how to get out. It was my first corvette. But it created a fun memory.

If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

DAMN! Love SIDE PIPES! Sounds like a beast too! That the 427 motor? remember the first vettes that last was 65, SB's, and 396 BB came out 66. Think 427 next? I remember a kid (worked a gas station the muscle years at (1964) at 14..IMPRESSED!) when the 64 409 chevy came out. Cool kid bought one. DAMN! And lots "street racing" with Goats, Mopars, GTO's, 442's, vettes, and those damn CHEVELLES and CAMEROS! Great time!

Here's a video of me walking around my car. Don't make fun of me too bad. I was pretty excited, I even gave some misinformation. somewhere around 6:35 I fired it up again, just because I can. I thought ALL old corvettes were suppose to sound like this. This is pre 572, just a plain old boring 1968 427 vette engine. just kidding. It was hopped up a bit, but not good enough for me. I cringe everytime i see myself slam the door. The weatherstripping isn't on yet.

    Enjoy

So before Bridgeports, There was triple bridgeport. Looks like Military McCulloch beat out Mercury by 35yrs. I wonder where they got their intel from? Hmmm

Does anyone even know what this is?
