Loose or bad battery connections can make solenoids stick, also low voltage can cause it to happen. Seen it on automotive starter noids.

Heard from Nancy yesterday.
They've received the colour match gel. Once they've confirmed it's a match they plan to start laying up the deck, this week if all goes well.
My plan is to have it back here before April 1.
