All kidding aside, I love these new boats and love that Skater constantly ups his game and changes things with the times to keep making cooler boats instead of the same old things

Like the simplicity of the color scheme on the hull but the interior not my style and will get warm out here.

Is that a stock 400R steering system?

Never understood dark interiors in boats. Maybe a "north" thing.

If you go "north far enough to cool the seats .... could the water be frozen? ;-) Still good lookin.

The new Pure Platinum had a similar material. I was in the boat in middle of summer and it is not really that hot as it is not vinyl. Remarkably cooler than you would think.
Is it me our is that boat a little high in the nose?

The black paint could be creating that image but it does seem to be sitting high.

Its bow high. I think they need to take a lesson from our recently lost friend Jim "move the batteries up front".

Hard to tell from picture, but that circle up in port side bow maybe a ballast tank.

I have two 70 Lb Oddessy batteries mounted in the bottom of each sponson just in front of the dash bulkhead. I also have my amps and subs mounted in the dash bulkhead. Bow is lower and it handles the rough very well. Mine is a 308 not 318

Ron set me up with dual Mercury Vessel View 7's and a Garmin 7610 GPS Map. We used the Garmin 300 black box receiver paired to two JL Audio amps and JL Audio subs and Speakers. The switching for the boat is CZone digital switching. Everything comunicates flawlessly via NEMA 2000. I can control all components and customize engine and Vessel displays. Additionally with the Garmin 7610 WIFI I can remotely control all functions with my iPhone and iPad. Using the Garmin Bluecharts App I can download maps routes and live weather to the 7610. We set up a remote FOB to turn the batteries on and off as well as control the stereo, interior and underwater lighting. With the forward battery placement improved the CG which is more forward and beneficial in rough water handling. I'm not the fastest 308 but we know how to have fun. So far I've seen 113 with 33" props 60 gallons of fuel and two people 85 degrees. It runs 111 loaded with fuel people and 32's. We are still dialing her in.
