Pro ET vs. Pro Max on a tunnel
Mercury has stopped making the Pro ET, they claim its been replaced by the Pro Max. Anyone tried the Pro Max on a STV.

I don't think they stopped making the Pro ET but they did take it off their website, it may have limited availability.
I'd like to know that same thing, how will a ProMax run on a small Cat like a Talon 22?Mark

I checked with Jacos and BBlades and the Pro ET is no longer in production... may be a few in shop inventories but thats it. The Pro Max replaced it.

I was told differently by a dealer who works exclusively with Mercury Racing but it's possible that you can only get "labbed" versions through the racing program and perhaps only until their stock is depleted. Or he was given bad information.
The only reason I can think of that they would discontinue a prop that has had all of its R&D paid for would be lack of sales. It does appear they are moving to the thru hub for most applications with the Pro Max and the Bravo OS so maybe they know something we don't.Mark
