Night time riding is dangerous either way, gotta know the water way like the back of your hand and keep speed down 90% of the time even then, hard to find lit areas to,clear sky helps.

That's the thing about driving anything "impaired"... you lose track of time while you're talking to your buddy or screwing with the stereo and pretty soon you're 3 miles closer to the breakwall than you thought.

[QUOTE=XstreamVking;2938320]Something not discussed but very important. Slow that sumbeech down and pay attention to your surroundings. Day or night....Would have prevented 90% of the fatal accidents we see on the news.[/QUO tha ts hard to do when any a-hole can buy a 100 mph rig with absoultly no boating education and clue-less on marine laws navigation and so on. my friend had his thumbs tore off drove under an anchor line at 40 with his fingers in the wheel spokes line caught him under his chin in 69. i was a river-rat brown wtr navy we raised hell trust me but had our act together. we crept at night couldnt see hand in front of your face.
