    Video - Trying to achieve "Mile a Minute" status

    Wanted to see how fast I could accelerate to 60mph; I'll have to accept 59.5mph for now. Digital GPS data in lower left of screen.

    Two acceleration runs in video, one early - one later. Not bad for an engine half century old. Boat is very, very stable.

    It's a great feeling to see the speedo pegged.

    Yeah, but man that lake gets desolate in late Fall! Tough place to have something go wrong! This boat/engine is so. damn. FUN!
