Freebird, the south Pittsburgh ramp is for Thursday and I figure somewhere between 10-12 central time, that way everyone can chat in the parking lot and all before hitting the water. Would say the same on Friday as well....that parking lot gets full quick

I said 'about noon' based on my trip in 2014 and yes I meant local (central) time, sorry I should have clarified that.

Is that time good for both days?

    Jeremy,

Scroll up a few post and Chummy has it listed. I have never been either "assuming that this storm doesn't come West, I will be there"

    Don't say storm.

I've planned on coming for the past two years, but the weather kept me at home. Don't think that storm is going to affect us, and the forecast is still great.

I think it's around 45 miles to Chattanooga but I'm not sure where exactly they go there. When I went in 2014 there were a couple different groups that kinda hung together and I wad the last guy out so i caught up with a group that was kind of relaxed and talking their time. So I stayed with them so I didn't get lost since it was my first time and I'm not an experienced pad boat driver and I was nervous as hell. We went about 1/2 way or maybe a tad over that and then headed back.

It's about 32 or so miles to Chattanooga and plenty of great places to eat there. They are usually practicing rowing when you get close to down town so fall off plane and idle in. Excited to see your boat Joe so hope you make it.

Thank you for that information and heads up Chummy, that could definitely prevent an unsafe situation for not just rowers but everyone else.
