Occasional sneeze on start up
99 Merc 2.5, about 5 hours on fresh rebuild. Using WH-22 carbs. This only happens after I warm it up and run down the lake to fish, shut it off and fish a while(hour or two) then fire up to move locations. Only happens once then starts right up and runs perfect, does not happen every time.

Check your idle timing and bump it up until it smooth out at idle then back off the idle screw till its at the correct idle RPM in Gear.
