Well I guess it's like everything else.....it all gets back to personal experience. I see a lot of people that are very happy with them and I see a LOT of negative reviews on eBay, especially regarding quality. It's a shame because on one end it seems like a great company to deal with but on the other end, so many complaints regarding the same issue. I dunno, maybe I'll give one a try at some point. They seem to be priced right.

Will Hill, it seems to be a bit hit and miss.
Use the search function, and you will learn.
The one Hill propeller I have owned, was a 4-blade Hoss Style which was pretty good. Others have had different experiences.
Steve's Custom Props blueprints them and turns them into great wheels - see my links page.Markus' Performance Boating Links:

For the price and quality Performance Propellers are a much better option. Yes, I am a dealer for them but you wont hear stories of poor craftsmanship with Performance. The Eagle props are very inconsistent in pitch blade to blade as well. You might get lucky and get a good one but more likely you wont.

Buy a brand new prop that's a fixer upper?? Sometimes that's what you do.

I have Eagle 3's in 28'', 30'', and 32'' pitch... I bought them off their ebay store (the 30'' and 32'' were used). I've had great luck with them and for the money i spent, i cant complain. Chad defiantly builds a decent prop...

BTW the BBlades Blaster is a Hill prop that is purchased by BBlades as a casting and then finished (much better) by BBlades. Its not a bad casting its just the finish work out of Hill is very poor. I have personally seen brand new ones recently on a pitch gauge and they are all over the place blade to blade.

I ran the blaster, I felt the quality was subpar (I should've taken pictures of it), and it didn't run well, on my boat, but others like them. I did it under their loaner program, and when it came time to return it, they thought I bought it, which I didn't, and after some arguing they took it back. So a word of warning, get something in writing that you are doing the loaner program or u may wind up owning it. As far as the eagle props, they seem to be a cheap prop to get u out on the water, but if u get bored, take a coat hanger, clamp it to your cavitation plate, and bend it so the tip contacts the tip of the backside of one of the blades, and then turn the prop, everyone I've checked shows the blades are not in track, some blades will touch or be far away from the coat hanger, but what do you expect for what you are paying for that prop. I have friends that run them and in every instance a mercury lightening et has been faster,in some cases 10 plus mph .
