NTV18R would be sick also. Mike Nass makes them his carbon fiber work as most know is top notch. He races his hulls in F1 and drags and does very well against STV,s and Mirages. They are also very fast hulls and i hear he wants to focus on making more of these now. Might be worth giving him a call? Hes in Canada also so the exchange might work out well for ya? He makes them in a 4 seater pleasure lake boat configuration also.

How much does the NTV weigh, and what price range. So as to not get off the original subject I have had a mirage rr and two stv's. The transom and stringers are rotten in the mirage. The stv is a faster hull.

Not sure on weight, have to ask Mike. i saw his yellow one last month at his shop with a S3000 hanging of the back and she looked fast sitting there! Flawless in every way. I know this is a STV or Mirage thread also but pretty sure Mikes are an updated version of the STV so relevant if ya can buy a new one. Not to many know he makes them hes very low volume. But seen clips of him running against same powered STV,s and Mikes not a small dude and win. You can see the resemblance obviously only newer updated materials. My guess is how lite ya want one. Custom made for you.

Stringers or transom can rot out on any boat if it's rigged improperly or left out in the elements. Not defending the Mirage but can happen to an STV just as easily.

Ford and Chevy, both have pros and cons, I love mine, you won't go wrong with either if you look them over good.

I was going to say the same thing. I've had both. For pointing your toe, both boats are going to be a ton of fun.

I loved the mirage when I had it. It has been left outside after I sold it. My boats are always kept inside. Current stv is all composite, no wood.

Don't count out the Full Throttle Powerboats T-3 R.
Easily into tipple digits with as low as 200 hp.
The T-3 also handles great at any speed.

Full Throttle is the legal builder of the S.T.V River Rocket and the Euro.
Both built by the best in the business, Jack Barsh

Yeah Matt me too. 15" cut down straight leg looks pretty cool. Had a couple cool running pics on an old thread in 2006 of that red T3 with that motor on it and now the pics are gone from the thread. Strange!? Anyway here's the avatar pic you can enlarge.
