    great info guys , im so glad my dad took pics with his nikon that greg is soon gonna have, i dont take any pics! lol

    That is supposed to happen when you step your E up To the G class. Even down 10hp I doubt the OMC was last!

    ...Some strang(e) guy developed that OMC 3-cylinder outboard for JohnRude. It was they're first loop-charged, thru-hub exhaust brilliant piece of engineering, that allowed them to catch up with the competition. In race/modified powerhead form, on the dyno, back in the late 70's, we had them putting out as much as 125+ horsepower. Some guy named Charlie that came to OMC from Mercury, cobbled it together, lol.

    JP boats 3000 was harley hicks, 964 was roland hicks. SG boat 477 was lynn simburger. lynn stared racing in 1970. he raced up to last year in formula1. lynn my friend,who i raced with for at lest 13 years, and know for over 50. pasted away in a auto crash on 8/24 /16
