The 3 boats pictured above are all fiberglass E&T hulls originally popped from Bob Van Epps Sidewinder tunnel in the late 60's and had nothing to do with Schulze designs.

No the plugs for the cowling molds were made from wood, sheet metal and body filler. Schultze had nothing to do with them. The hull transom and lift are not same as Sidewinder and deck is entirely E&T, copied from no one. These pictures are recent. Last boat built in 1974. At Leonardtown , MD July 2016 there were 7 E&Ts running. Not bad considering only 30 some built, pretty high percentage of survivors approaching their Golden Anniversary.

Hey Beale. Crazy storms were hav'n lately, huh?! Yes...the Tilton/Edwards boat photo's were from just last month, at the Leonardtown meet. Yeah, the Shultz & Van Epps were flat fronted, some later pickled...and different bottoms. Many aspects were evolving back then. It is neat, to see that so many of your boats are still making waves out on the water. Making them out of glass(and sometimes Mylar, lol) instead of wood, gave them a fighting chance to survive. Glad to see you on the board here.

Get a hold of Fred Farley out in the Northwest. He has a lot of connections from that old era and can probably help your search.
