1988 Eliminator Sales Catalog
I'm restomodding a 1987 23' Eliminator Daytona right now, and my buddy Crash pulls out a catalog from 1988 when he was looking at purchasing a 20' Scorpion. We live about an hour and a half from Shawano, WI, where Eliminator had a second factory. He had driven up there with his dad to learn about the Scorpion, and came home with this catalog and some brochures.
I will post a few pics a day. I scanned them in hi-res so I could use them for reference while working on my project, so if they are too large, I will reduce them. They'll be posted full size for now so they can be enjoyed/scrutinized. The original print is only so good, so this is the best we can do!
Enjoy!A problem is only a problem when viewed as a problem...

Hey,
How are you doing?
I got a bunch of Eliminator brochures if you need a reference. i can remember crawling around in freshly laid up 23 daytonas in Shawno. I bought my first V8 from them. It was the motor you saw in the 1985 catalog.
Thought of you the other day when we found out the 400R is now available from the factory on a 25 Q series Bennington ESP...stated at 60mph. Who'da thought!

A local marina had a BEAUTIFUL blue/white 21 daytona in the showroom. I was maybe 7 or 8 and used to drool all over it, later that summer a blue metal flake vector or v king went sailing by on the lake. Life was all over then.

To this day I can still perfectly picture that Daytona, the gel on it was incredible.
