    Rev limiter carb motor?

How do you remove the rev limiter on a 2000 model 200 hp carb motor with CDM ignition?

    Thanks, Pford

It's in module located on top of engine. Will have to have someone remove it.Think Chris Carson can do it. CDI says they can but tried twice on one of mine and never got it. I finally switched to switch box ignition, much easier to deal with in performance situation.

Thanks for the response. So I guess those are my only options?

As for as I know. I would contact Chris and see. It was a few years back when I was trying and was unaware of Chris doing them. I like not having the timing delay in switch box ignition because easier to set timing and seems way more responsive.
